Following the huge success of October's Big Food Bank Drop-off, we are pleased to be partnering with our friends at Morrisons supermarkets once again to organise a second day-long Big Food Bank Drop-off on Saturday 18th December at Morrisons Victoria (Girlington) supermarket car park.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously at our October event. We collected 258 bags of food donations and a further 98 Morrisons meal bags. All of these donations will go to help people who are struggling through the city and region.
Many more people will be reduced to poverty this winter and we need all the support we can get to help vulnerable people through the upcoming months.
Our team of volunteers will be at the Morrisons car park from 8.30am until 4pm and are inviting people to drop off their food donations to help those across the district who are in need.
Run in partnership with Morrisons, the Big Food Bank Drop-off aims to increase our supplies of dry food in readiness for an anticipated rise in demand as winter approaches.
