Latest update: 24th March

Just a note to ask everyone to bear with us at the current time.

The food bank committee are working hard to adapt the way we work to make sure our volunteers packing bags remain safe and that food is getting as efficiently as possible to the organisations who use us.

We will be open - but we are going to slightly change the way we operate; more details to follow shortly.

If you collect food from us PLEASE ENSURE YOUR TEAM IS REGISTERED WITH US - email the Contact section of the website if you collect already but have not completed a form (talk to your colleagues and make sure you are not duplicating any trips to collect from us). We will be moving to an appointment system for collections from Monday 30 March 2020.

If you donate food to us, PLEASE DON'T STOP - we need your help more than ever, particularly peanut butter, tinned fruit and long life milk. Our donation collection points on the website are still open and we are still picking up food from them.

If you already volunteer with us, make sure that we have your mobile telephone number and email address, and DO NOT attend the food bank if Government guidance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance) says you should self-isolate and not leave your home.

We continue to rely on the extraordinary generosity of donors, bank transfers can be made through our account (sort code 089299, account 65225833). If you are a tax payer, please complete a Gift Aid form as well.

We remain committed to working as best we can to support people in need.
